POSITION: DIGITAL STRATEGY ANALYST

LOCATION: BURLINGTON, VERMONT

Job Description:


IXIS is seeking an innovative thinker with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills to work with their Digital Strategy team. The core responsibility for this role will be to leverage quantitative and qualitative data sources to glean insights into to the end-user experience and utilize these findings to drive experience optimization and innovation.

The Digital Strategy Analyst must be competent extracting, manipulating and interpreting large clickstream datasets and also have a firm understand of user research methodologies and user experience best practices in order to identify quantitative and qualitative research synergies that support digital experience strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integrate quantitative and qualitative insights to build data narratives that elucidate opportunities to align user goals and business goals in the digital experience
  • Deliver strategic insights and data-backed recommendations via compelling visualizations, infographics, and research briefs
  • Define and communicate measurement objectives and KPIs to project stakeholders
  • Assess and quantify product usability via heuristic evaluations and user experience scorecards
  • Collaborate with technical, development, and QA resources to support to help facilitate user-centered designs
  • Disseminate research findings via internal and client-facing presentations and trainings

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Deep background in behavioral data analysis and visualization
  • A firm understanding of quantitative and qualitative data gathering, analysis, specification, verification, and management practices
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Proficiency with multiple analytics tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics
  • Solid understanding of usability best practices, information architecture, and interaction/experience design principles
  • Core critical thinking skills including observation, interpretation, analysis, inference, and explanation

Education and Work Experience:

  • B.A./B.S. required, ideally in multimedia, computer science, HCI or related field
  • 5+ years supporting/devising complex interaction/experience design and digital
  • Experience handling multiple tasks and prioritizing with minimal guidance and instruction
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt well in a fast-paced environment
